Disappointed sums up our dining experience 😒 we both decided on the fish & chips with 'chunky' chips ? I couldn't find any information as to what fish we were actually served? Perhaps it would be a good idea to inform your customer's ? Back to the review - the fish was over cooked & the batter too crispy, same with the (frozen ? ) chips which were not 'chunky' , throw in the smallest amount of mushy peas & you have a an unappealing £17.95 each meal - even wetherspoons could do better than this....( incidentally no staff asked us how our food was ? ) The pub itself has lots of charm and a nice big beer garden but for us not impressed with our choice of food 😉

Spur of the moment visit Friday evening, one unbooked table (so popular!) great service, lovely sea bass and crumble of the day 😋.

Dillon checked us in and couldn't be more helpful or accommodating. Room service was excellent. The room was inviting and warm with a comfortable bed. Mya and team were excellent at breakfast service. I can recommend the eggs Benedict. All in all an incredible weekend.
